Drop-in Meditation Classes

These General Program, drop-in meditation classes are perfect for everyone from complete beginners to the most advanced students. We learn how to use meditation and Buddhist practices to solve our daily problems and enjoy real inner peace. We offer daytime and evening classes at the Temple as well as branch classes in Toronto and the surrounding areas. Please see list below.

Our classes include training in meditation, a practical teaching on an aspect of Buddhism, and Q & A.  The fee is $10 per class or $40 for a series pass. You can join at any time during the series as each class is self contained. No pre-registration required.

No special clothing is required nor is there anything you need to bring.

Overcoming Stress
January - February

Mental stress is something we carry every day and it interrupts our ability to stay calm, centered, and balanced. Our reactions are often laced with frustration and anger and we have little space in our mind for others. Meditation helps reduce stress and with practice we will start to feel more peaceful, happy and clear. Take the time in the New Year to develop the skills taught by Buddha to calm and strengthen the mind.
