Visitor centre
Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada (KMCC) was formerly situated in Mississauga where it began its function as a National Buddhist Temple. It was open for school and church visits and as a place where visitors could just drop in to find out more about Buddhism.
In 2007, KMCC moved to the heart of Toronto. This new temple, situated on 631 Crawford Street, south off Bloor between Christie and Ossington subway stations, is a place of refuge for all those seeking Buddhist teachings. It consists of a unique meditation room, an upstairs meditation room, a bookstore anda gift shop and also a social area. It is also the home ot Tharpa Publications a company dedicated to distributing Buddhist books throughout Canada.
